Placacentro clients based in Venezuela have been working on renewing their brand image. Freshness, versatility, and new beginnings are reflected in the updated façades of their commercial locations.
These establishments, distributed throughout the country, offer MDF boards manufactured by MASISA, along with other materials and accessories essential for furniture production. They also provide specialized services such as board cutting and piece optimization, ensuring more efficient product use.
The first to complete the modernization of their storefronts were Decomaderas Maturín (Monagas), Maderas y Derivados Madegurra, and Maderas Unidas del Zulia (Distrito Capital). Others are advancing in their transformation process, particularly with the renewal of canopies and signage: Grupo Chapam (Aragua) and Distribuidora Ecoplaca 3000 (Miranda).
Jesús Fernández, owner of Maderas Unidas del Zulia—the first Placacentro ever built in Venezuela, 25 years ago—considers MASISA his greatest ally: “The treatment has always been excellent; I feel comfortable with this team,” he said.
Two years ago, his company began replacing billboards and signs while also remodeling the store’s interior. “The new image was designed following the company’s guidelines. We received great support and timely assistance from the team,” he added.
A similar experience was shared by Gorka Errasti, owner of Maderas y Derivados Madegurra 12, C.A., who confirmed that his modernization process met all brand requirements. “The most noticeable change was the façade; inside, we continue showcasing your products and offering quality to our customers,” he noted.
He expressed his satisfaction with MASISA, with whom he has collaborated since around 2001, when he had the opportunity to visit the Macapaima Industrial Complex. “It’s been a great experience working with the team—they’ve always treated me exceptionally well. I feel truly supported,” he said.
The commercial team led by Alberto Fandiño, National Sales and Marketing Manager, remains clear on its mission: to prioritize customer needs — and they’re delivering on that commitment!
