Our melamine boards were part of Asmat Studio's Wiñay Saphi themed show, a space that connected design, history and emotion in the leading architecture and design fair in Peru.
ExpoDeco Peru 2025, the country's leading architecture and design fair, was held in Lima from August 20 to 24. This year it attracted more than 35,000 visitors, with the participation of 250 stands and 15 themed halls, each one awarded for its proposal.
Within this framework, Masisa was present through the proposal of Asmat Studio, led by architect and interior designer Pierina Asmat, who was invited by the organization as an outstanding professional in the field. Its theme room Wiñay Saphi -which in Quechua means "eternal roots"-was one of the spaces recognized in this edition.
With an area of 28 m², this space used colors from the new collection of Masisa melamine, including Walnut Biloba, Terracotta Charyn, Manglar and Uyuni, managing to convey character and versatility in the proposal. Conceived as an emotional journey, Wiñay Saphi invited to look to the origins to reconnect with the essence of the spaces and resignify the way they are inhabited.
For Pierina Asmat, the collaboration was significant: "It was a great experience to work with Masisa, since their products and the new melamine collection, in terms of colors, lends itself well to this type of projects and residential spaces, which reflected exactly what this space wanted to convey".
"Being part of ExpoDeco was a unique experience that reflects our commitment to transforming spaces. Experiencing it firsthand allowed us to evidence how our products can create environments that are felt and enjoyed. Collaborating with Pierina further enhanced that vision, and seeing how the melamines were showcased in the project was a confirmation of the value we deliver as a brand," said Jessica Rojas, Masisa Specifier.
For her part, Josefa Gonzalez, Masisa's Channel Development Leader, commented: "This type of collaboration connects with our purpose of creating spaces for better living. It is inspiring to see how our products manage to transmit emotions in the projects.¨
Participation in ExpoDeco Perú 2025 reinforces how Masisa products are integrated into innovative architectural and design proposals, consolidating its role as an ally of professionals in the field.
