With this new opening, MASISA expands its presence in a strategic area of Ecuador’s capital city, introducing advanced technology, a specialized showroom, and personalized service for design and construction projects.
Since July 5, MASISA Ecuador has been celebrating the opening of its second Placacentro MASISA Design Center, located at Calle Rumiñahui 910-988 and Geovanni Farina, Valle de los Chillos – Quito. This new location becomes the brand’s 26th store in the country, marking a significant step in our national coverage strategy.
This opening was made possible thanks to the trust and partnership of Darwin Morales, strategic partner and owner of the new location, who shared:
“We are proud to announce the opening of our new branch—an important step that reaffirms our commitment to innovation, service, and the development of our industry. This expansion wouldn’t have been possible without the support of MASISA, with whom we share values such as quality, sustainability, and a strong customer focus.
This location is more than a point of sale; it’s a comprehensive solutions center equipped with cutting-edge technology and expert guidance that strengthens our value proposition in the region. We’re deeply grateful to the entire team who made this project possible—and especially to our customers, whose trust motivates us to keep growing with responsibility and vision.”
The new store features a service center equipped with high-standard Italian technology, allowing for highly precise boards cutting and improving efficiency in construction, real estate, and interior design projects.
It also includes a showroom of over 100 m², where customers can explore the full MASISA product portfolio—including the recently launched fluted wall panels. The space is supported by specialized design consultants, ready to help turn ideas into tailored solutions for every project.
This opening reinforces MASISA’s commitment to continued growth in strategic locations.
Andrea Navarrete, Commercial Manager of MASISA in Ecuador, commented:
“This new store represents a significant expansion for the brand, allowing us to reach a high-growth area in Quito where we previously had no coverage. We’re confident this opening will further strengthen our local and national presence, and we deeply thank Darwin and his family for believing in this project and in the MASISA vision.”
With this new opening, we continue to strengthen our commercial presence and reaffirm our commitment to the development of design, architecture, and the wood industry in Ecuador—through quality, accessible, and sustainable solutions.
