Design that accompanies daily life
Masisa® Melamines: Warmth and functionality for contemporary kitchens
At the Farellón de Santa Elena condominium in Chicureo, Chile, developed by FG Real Estate, a series of kitchens were designed incorporating Masisa Pacific and Hill melamine finishes, resulting in contemporary, warm, and functional spaces. While each layout features a different configuration, all share a cohesive aesthetic defined by neutral tones, soft textures, and a design approach centered on everyday use.
The combination of wood tones with more understated surfaces creates balanced, up-to-date environments, where the cabinetry integrates naturally with the lighting and the overall design concept. Pacific melamine brings freshness and simplicity, while Hill design adds warmth and a more natural character, creating a contrast that keeps each kitchen modern and functional.
Taken together, the three proposals demonstrate how the right choice of materials can transform purely functional environments into more inviting, well-resolved spaces aligned with the needs of today’s residential projects—resulting in kitchens that stand out for their quality, durability, and ability to adapt to multiple layouts within the same development.
Beyond their aesthetic value, these melamine finishes offer easy maintenance and surfaces designed for everyday use in a high-demand space such as the kitchen. Manufactured on MDP boards, Masisa melamines incorporate antiviral, antifungal, and antibacterial protection, along with high resistance to wear, ensuring safe, long-lasting surfaces. A combination that reflects Masisa’s commitment to design, functionality, and well-being in every project.
