ExpoDeco Peru 2025, the country's leading design and architecture fair, was held from August 20 to 24 in Lima. In this edition, Masisa participated through the Wiñay Saphi theme room -which in Quechua means "eternal roots"- developed by Asmat Studio and led by architect and interior designer Pierina Asmat, a leading professional invited by the organization.
With an area of 28 m², the space was conceived as an emotional journey to the origins, where design acts as a means to reconnect with memory and redefine the way we live. To this end, designs from the new Masisa melamine collection were incorporated: Nogal Biloba, present in the shelves and in the external structure of the bar cabinet and the souvenir display cabinet; Terracota, used to create a niche that frames a sculpture highlighted within the cabinet itself; Manglar, applied in the drawers of both pieces of furniture; and Uyuni, which covers the lattice of cubes located at the top of both pieces. Each of these tones contributed to build an atmosphere with character, balance and depth, giving shape to an aesthetic proposal that honors the roots and highlights the value of materiality and the creation of spaces that can be felt.
