New line of MDF in Masisa Chile

Once it starts working, this will be the MDF line with the highest production in Masisa at corporate level.

After the approval of the Environmental Impact Statement last December, the company started building to begin operating during the second semester in 2007.

The building of this new line involved moving the MDF moulding line of the Board Unit to the Solid Wood Unit within the same Complex. This change was successfully made last August, and it will allow the productive process to be carried out in one place.

Along with the relocation of this new line, the building of the MDF new line of industrial units started in January as well as the mounting of larger equipments where the foundations of this line will be settled. The new line considers hi-fi technology both for the operation and the production process, and takes into account equipment and processes necessary for the environment and the ecosystem.

From November on, industrial equipments will be assembled, most of them coming from Germany.
